How do I change the color of the trackball on my blackberry pearl without using a sharpie!?

I've seen somepeople have colored trackballs on their blackberrys but i don't wanna have to take my phone appart and color it with a sharpie marker, how can i do this??How do I change the color of the trackball on my blackberry pearl without using a sharpie!?You can install a free program called ColorPearl that will change the color of your track ball.

I need help with my blackberry pearl 8100.....?

Ok, i have been trying to figure this out for the longest!!!! i DO NOT have the internet on my blackberry pearl, but i was told that i could still change the color of my trackball, and get new themes for my blackberry. I still haven't figured out how to do this yet. If you know how, i am more than willing to give you four stars, if you could just walk me thru it...and what is the most up to date desktop software for the blackberry pearl???? Thanx in advance!!!!!!I need help with my blackberry pearl 8100.....?If you do not have the BlackBerry data plan on your account then you have to use the Desktop Manager program to install programs. When you download a theme or a program there should be a .alx file, and a .cod file. You will use the Desktop Manager's Application Loader program to install these files.

Blackberry Pearl 8110??

Does anyone know if you can change the led light on your blackberry pear 8110 to a different color when you get message?? Mine flashes red and I really want to change the color. Does anyone know how to do this? Is it even possible? Also is there a way to change the color of the trackball with out coloring it?? Blackberry Pearl 8110??I'm not sure about changing the LED color, but I'm still searching for an answer to that. To change the trackball color, geekandproud.net has an awesome free software program called colorpearl and you just download that. Really simple. Not sure if it's compatible with the 8110 but it is with the 8100.

I just got a blackberry pearl. and i wanted to know if you if you guys could give me some advice on using it. I got the blackberry 8100 In white. I love it so far but the texting is a bit difficult. How long does it take to catch onto it? Right now i takes me 5 mins to reply to a text where as before.. it took me a min or less. LOL Anyway, does anyone know of a program that allows you to change the color of the trackball? I saw someone with a colorful looking trackball. Any secrets and ways to work around the software to do cool and unique things?For those who KNOW what they are talking about!?The texting is pretty easy once you know what youre doing. The key is to look at ur thumbs not the screen. The awesome thing about the BB Pearl is that the more you use it the smarter it gets. The predictive text is pretty advanced.



As for the colored pearl... i know this sounds crazy but I was sworn to secrecy on how to do it, and it does not involve taking it apart and coloring it with different colored markers...but i will e-mail you the link to do so, just as long as you will do the same...

Remember what it was like first texting from a cell phone?? You eventually catch on and get faster. The frustrating part is impatient people that are waiting for answers that keep texting you while you're trying to respond to their first darn text! I don't know of any %26quot;secrets%26quot; to getting it to do certain things, but you can modify them at certain electronic stores (which will screw up any warranty you have on it if they catch you!). You can call your provider and ask what they offer, but I'm sure it will cost you!

Why does it look like I have messages waiting when I don't? There is a number 5 with a picture of an envelope in the upper rightish of the screen but I have no unopened texts or voicemail messages....

And as for the MMS do you have a data plan?? Becuase without one you won't have the service books that you need. But you can google FROM YOUR PHONE to the internet and download software for the trackball.



Or when people call you make it change colors.



Just go to call logs, menu, options, general options, ringtone lighting, and select trackball, then save

go on google and type colorpearl then click on a link and download it then get the usb and hook it up and application loader and load it then click add and find colorpearl and download it it takes 5-6 minuets to reboot!
